Derrick B. Reese, J.D.; LL.M is the Senior Managing Partner for The Reese Law Center, LLC located in the southwest suburbs of Chicago. He is an attorney who has extensive, proven, and respected experience with cases ranging from DUI, Felony cases, Criminal Appeals, Family Law matters, Wills and Trusts, Business Law and Real Estate closings.
Attorney Reese has two law degrees. He received his first, Juris Doctor, from Thurgood Marshall School of Law in Houston, Texas. Graduating in the top 5%; ranked #7 out of over 150 graduates. While a law student, Attorney Reese worked as a law review articles editor at Thurgood Marshall Law Review, competed in Moot Court competition, received the distinguished title, Who's Who Amongst Law School Students each year, a recipient of an academic of excellence scholarship, and allocated time to tutor fellow law school students. Attorney Reese graduated with Honors and received one of only four full scholarships given by the American Bar Association to continue his legal studies towards a Masters in Law. After taking the Illinois Bar Examination only once, he passed and that fall enrolled into Loyola University's School of Law in Chicago, IL. Again, Attorney Reese graduated at the top of his class.
